Residents must provide two proofs of residency in order to apply for a Maywood Library card. The identification must include a photo ID and one document from the approval list. If the photo ID does not have a current address, two (2) documents from the approval list must be provided. Students must have a parent or legal guardian provide the above documentation in order to get a library card.

In order to reserve a meeting room at the library, patrons must have a valid Maywood Library card. First time users may download the Meeting Room package, fill out the application, and submit all forms for approval. Once approved, the patron may then make the reservation and pay the rental fees (if applicable).
Access your library account via, catalog.swanlibraries.net/mws. Click "My Account" in the upper right corner. Enter your library card number and PIN. The default for all PIN numbers is the last for digits of your primary phone number. Within your account page, you may view your information, pay fines, and change your account preferences.

Patrons may pay all overdue fines and fees for lost or damaged materials, with cash, at the Lending Services Desk. You may also pay fines online via your online account.
- Log into "My Account" via, catalog.swanlibraries.net/mws
- Enter your library barcode and PIN.
- Open the "Fines" tab on your account.
- You may make a partial or full payment.
- Once you have selected which fines you would like to pay, click the Payment Button.
You may renew borrowed material either online or by contacting the Lending Services Desk. There are certain renewal limitations : item may be on hold for another patron; you've reached the maximum renewal limit for that item; and too many overdues and fines on your account.

Printing: The cost of printing is $.10 per page for black and white copies. Color copies are $.25 per page. Please be advised that the Library is not responsible for print jobs that are not promptly removed from the printer. Please ask for assistance before printing.
Photocopies/Scanning and Faxing: These services are now available via the public copy machine. Scanning is $.10 per page; faxing is $1.00 per page. Please see a staff member for assistance.
