Book Signing with Dick Hrebik

On Saturday, November 19, at 2:00 pm in the Maywood Public Library’s Rotunda, United States Marine Dick Hrebik signed his books CORPS Vet and The Warrior Among Us.Dick Hrebik is an author and a historian who grew up in Maywood in the 1930s. He is a graduate of Proviso East High School, and was a champion wrestler and choir soloist.  Dick Hrebik later joined the Marine Corp in 1953.  He often visits with wounded veterans in government hospitals.
