Check-Out Limitations
Books, books on tape, books on CD, and CDs are loaned for two weeks.  Videotapes are loaned for 1 week without charge, while DVDs are loaned for one week for a $.50 charge.

Renewals
Maywood Public Library books, CDs, magazines, books on tape, and books on CD can be renewed by phone or online.

The policies on renewing an interlibrary loaned item are dependent on the policies of the item’s home library.  These policies can vary.

Fines and Fees
Overdue books, books on tape, books on CD, and magazines are $.10 a day per item.  Movies are $2.00 a day per movie.  Library card replacement is $3.00.  There is a $.50 charge to check out materials without your library card.

Fines on interlibrary loaned materials are based on the policies of the home libraries from which they came.  These fines can vary. Interlibrary loans and holds are to be picked up within 3 days at the Lending Services Desk.
